Wildfire Erupts at Costa del Sol Tourist Hotspot in Spain
A massive wildfire broke out on September 13, 2026, in the hilly terrain outside Benahavís, a popular village on Spain’s Costa del Sol. Andalusian authorities deployed 11 helicopters and more than 100 firefighters to combat the blaze as strong winds drove the inferno toward populated areas.
