Iranian Diplomats Expelled from U.S. After Ignoring Departure Order
The United States expelled two Iranian diplomats on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This action followed their failure to comply with an earlier order by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio for Iran’s entire UN delegation to depart the country. The diplomats were found to still be in New York after the conclusion of the UN General Assembly.
