A potential terrorist attack targeting RAF Fairford, a US airbase in Gloucestershire, England, was thwarted on September 27, 2026. Five men were arrested following a tip-off from a local farmer who observed suspicious vans and masked individuals near the base. Authorities are investigating a possible Iranian link to the plot, which Former US President Donald Trump indicated was intended to cause “big damage.”
