Tornado Kills Four Construction Workers in Antalya, Turkey
A tornado in Antalya, Turkey, on Monday, October 26, 2026, resulted in the deaths of four construction workers and one injury. The workers were housed in containers at a construction site in the Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood of Kepez when the tornado hit. Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin confirmed the fatalities, noting that three of the deceased were Syrian nationals. The severe weather event also caused a crane to collapse at the site.
