Bodies Recovered After Florida Family Plane Crash Near Bahamas
Four members of a Florida family, including pilot Mario Lamar, 80, his wife Lili Lamar, 79, and their grandchildren Sofia Sosa, 28, and Christian Sosa, 22, have been recovered after their private plane went missing on September 7, 2026. The PA-34 Piper five-seater was en route from Great Harbour Cay, Bahamas, to Miami Executive Airport when contact was lost. Family members conducted the search and recovery.
