ByteSize Network is a global, multi-channel media network and distribution platform covering real estate, development, culture, politics, and breaking news, built on a foundation of country music. Headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, we reach audiences around the world across web, video, social and streaming.
Who we are
ByteSize Network is an independent media company headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, the state’s third-largest city. Our newsroom and production operation are based in the City of Springfield, and our daily audience concentrates most heavily in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia, alongside readers, viewers and listeners on every continent who follow the stories we tell.
We started with a simple idea: serious reporting and strong storytelling, delivered in formats people actually use, on the platforms where they already are.
What we cover
- Breaking News: fast, verified reporting on developing stories.
- Politics: government, policy and the people who shape both.
- Culture: music, entertainment and the moments that define them, anchored in country music, where our network began.
- Real Estate & Acquisitions: markets, ownership and property records, and what they mean for communities.
- Development: the projects, money and decisions that change cities and neighborhoods.
- Tech: the technology and data reshaping media, business and daily life.
- Storytelling: long-form, documentary-style features and personal narratives.
- Postmortems: careful looks back at what happened, why, and what it teaches.
What we do
We produce original reporting, analysis and documentary-style video, and we distribute it across our website, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads and streaming platforms. One newsroom, many channels, the same standards everywhere.
Our standards
- Accuracy first. We verify before we publish, and we would rather be right than first.
- Sourced and documented. Reporting rests on public records, named sources and primary documents, and we say when we cannot confirm something.
- Fair to the people we cover. Individuals and organizations we write about are given a fair chance to respond.
- Fact and opinion kept apart. Commentary and analysis are clearly labeled as such.
- Nothing invented. No fabricated quotes, images or sources, ever.
- Corrections, out in the open. When we get something wrong we fix it promptly and note the change on the article. Send corrections to [email protected] or see our Corrections & DMCA page.
